About Us

Our packaging materials

We have a mission.

We want less plastic in the world. To help, we make unique products from biodegradable materials, and up-cycle existing biodegradable materials.

But we ain't your average paper straw...

we have Experience.

We're a company founded by scientists, and we take our commitments to our products as seriously as we take our own research.

We Focus on the Sustainable,

When it comes to our Betty Gorilla Original Products, we only source materials which match our high standards. Bone, paper, leather, fish products, fur, feathers.

Sustainable. Ethical. Fair Trade.

It's a promise.

The Strange,

But we don't think sustainable has to mean boring! So, none of our products are basic. Whether it's a Betty Gorilla Original or Vintage Product, we aim for the unexpected.

Leather scraps waiting to be upcycled.

And the Salvagable.

Our vintage products represent an old way of doing business, but since the products remain useful (and lovable!) we like to extend their life as long as possible.

We're reducing by reusing, and so can you.

And We're Proud to be women-Owned.
